While walking around Stephansplatz on my first Sunday in Vienna, I could not help but to stumble upon a few statues that I did not recognize from any travel brochures. These statues were so realistic they had a pulse. I soon realized that these were heavily made up performers looking to entertain and make a Euro or two (something rarely done as almost all shops close on Sunday). From a perfectly still golden couple, to a roman soldier who happily jumped off of his box whenever he received a coin, to a headless dancer, these dramatic few easily kept the tourists and I entertained.
